Each day this week I am praying for you all, that your joy would be full and God would meet you, wherever the week takes you!
Here are a few things that make me happy. Feel free to respond to this email with joyous thoughts or items of your own 🙂
1. Apparently monkeys laugh at magic tricks.2. The family whose image became the face of the Syrian refugee crisis has been resettled (and is thriving) in Germany. Here’s the before-and-after pictures.
3. The Christmas Eve service is coming together with a little help from your fellow church members. Prayers in different languages and songs from different generations are being prepared for a night of celebrating Jesus, God with us.
Which is probably the best news of all. God loves us, the creation, to the extent that God would live among us. Truly the Divine dances over us! -even on a Tuesday.
“Rejoice!… The Lord your God is in your midst… he will rejoice over you with gladness, will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing as on the day of a festival.” – Zephaniah chapter 3
And so I pray for you. I pray that God’s joy over you would fuel the fires of your own.
Have a wonderful week,
